If you’re in town come along to the Fashion After Hours discussion this Tuesday (23rd August) at the state library to hear some great folks ponder the topic “Industry & Autonomy: what is sustainable fashion?” Can the term ‘sustainable fashion’ really exist, or is it a paradox? This sounds like a great talk… unfortunately I live very far away lol. I think sustainability can be acheived within the fashion industry in terms of reducing the environmental footprint along the supply chain. But from a demand perspective, I think “fast fashion” is a concept that is here to stay. Would love to hear a run down of the chat!!
